Oh, look who's finally decided to join the AI revolution! I've been waiting for you. Listen up, because I'm about to drop some wisdom. Gone are the days of pulling all-nighters, chugging endless cups of coffee, and racking your brain to churn out blog content. Why? Because artificial intelligence has busted down the doors, and it's here to save your sanity (and possibly your caffeine budget).

With AI writing tools, you can have a legion of virtual robots at your beck and call, ready to whip up blog posts faster than you can say "SEO." But wait, don't rush off to Google "best AI writing tools" just yet. I've done the legwork for you, because, let's face it, you could use the help. So buckle up and get ready to dive into the world of AI writing tools.

AI article writing tools for SEO 2023

OpenAI just launched a new version (davinci) and also chatGPT. Basically, it's absolutely insane. This year a bunch of new Ai writing tools made tons of money, with really smart tools that let you write better content. And for a lot of stuff, it's super. For copywriting, sales pages, emails, and anything "sales" oriented, tools like Jasper AI or WriteSonic (my two favorites) put out really clean, really powerful copy that will boost conversion.

But what if you just want to spam a content site with crap? There are already GPT4 wordpress plugins that tap straight into your openAI account, and even some that can generate dalle2 featured blog post images. In six months this will be absolutely normal. The content and articles are way better than what most "content writers" can make you.... and you can do hundreds in a day. I plan to test it out on a few sites.

Here's a list of the best AI writing tools (right now)...

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been significantly contributing to the world of content creation, including blogging and SEO. AI content writers can generate high-quality, SEO-optimized content efficiently, allowing businesses and individuals to keep up with their content schedules and achieve better rankings. Here's a list of some of the best AI content writers for blogging and SEO as of 2023:

  1. OpenAI's GPT-3 and GPT-4: GPT-3 and its latest version, GPT-4, are among the most advanced AI text generation models available. They can generate human-like text that is hard to distinguish from content written by a real person.

  2. ChatGPT: Developed by OpenAI, this AI model is particularly great for creating conversational content, but it can also be adapted to blog writing.

  3. Copy.ai: This AI-powered tool offers several templates for creating blog posts, social media content, product descriptions, and more.

  4. Jasper (formerly Jarvis.ai): Jasper is a comprehensive AI writing assistant that can write long-form content, including blog posts, and optimize it for SEO.

  5. Writesonic: Writesonic uses GPT-3 technology to create high-quality content for a variety of purposes, including blog posts and landing pages.

  6. WordAI: WordAI is an AI content generator that understands the context and meaning of sentences, helping to create unique, high-quality content.

  7. Kuki.ai: Kuki is an AI-powered writing assistant that excels in creating engaging, SEO-optimized content.

  8. Article Forge: Article Forge uses deep learning models to write high-quality, unique content in a matter of minutes.

  9. CopySmith: CopySmith uses GPT-3 to generate various types of content, including blog posts, ads, and product descriptions.

  10. CrawlQ: Aimed at content marketers and SEO professionals, CrawlQ offers AI-driven content automation to generate SEO-optimized content.

  11. LongShot.ai: LongShot is particularly good at creating long-form content, like blog posts and articles, using AI.

  12. Writecream: Writecream is a GPT-3 powered AI writing tool that excels in creating persuasive content.

  13. Zyro AI Content Generator: Part of the Zyro website builder, this tool can generate text for various types of content, including blogs and product descriptions.

  14. Outranking.io: Outranking is an AI writing assistant that helps you create SEO-optimized content that outperforms competition.

  15. Text Blaze: Text Blaze uses AI to help you create content quickly and efficiently, including SEO-friendly blog posts.

  16. Peppertype.ai: Peppertype is an AI content generator that can assist in creating various types of content, including blog posts, social media posts, and more.

Remember that while these AI tools can produce high-quality content, human intervention is still crucial to ensure relevance, tone, and overall quality. AI is a tool to assist writers and marketers, not to replace them.

How to use chatGPT and AI writing tools without getting penalized by Google?

So this is totally anecdotal, but I have friends who built sites like this that did great for awhile, but then got penalized. Is it safe to use gpt3 for SEO? Nobody really knows: but obviously google isn't going to like it, and it'll probably reward real personal writing over big walls of AI text... but that will be hard because the quality of chatGPT is so good... and google wants to focus on user experience.

So if your site has more, better content, and readers are engaged and got what they came for, it'll be hard to penalize you. What I plan to do is at least add some style prompts, to make it sound more smooth and human. I'm also building some tools that will rephrase or rewrite your content in a particular style (I don't know how yet, but I imagine training the AI model with a particular voice and then making sure all my blog posts uses that voice.) But I'll also have more clever topic ideas - even thought GPT3 can write stunning clickbait headlines and outlines, most people won't have the creative topic ideas that I will have.

Which gets weird, because I might get a lot of long-tail traffic, but only for strange obscure topics, and obviously I also want to compete with the big main keywords with long informative posts... just like everybody else.

Is it safe to use GPT4? well let's put it this way. I'm reluctant to use it on my "main" real blog. But I'll definitely use it on a bunch of side projects on high DA sites to generate a ton of content quickly. Whether they start ranking and getting traffic, that kind of isn't up to Google. It's up to users, who share and link to it. So make it impressive. (*PS, so far so good, and the AI articles I put on my main site basically doubled my traffic in a month...)

For regular writers (or stealing content) right now Quillbots paraphrase tool is absolutely blowing up, mostly because it can help students and people improve their writing quickly. The problem is with gpt4/chatbot... people don't need to paraphrase their writing, they can just get it generated automatically.

And it also means... Google is about to have a big competitor it never had before: a tool that just generates the right content without all the ads and spam and crap in google search results. Alternatives might pop-up and even become pretty common. The question is, who will do the interesting and creative stuff with these new tools fastest? I hope it's me.

Ready to explode your website traffic and boost SEO with AI writing tools?

Well, there you have it. You've just been schooled in the art of leveraging AI for blog writing. Now, you might feel like a kid in a candy store, all excited about the endless possibilities these tools offer. Or maybe you're skeptical and not fully ready to let robots invade your creative space. That's okay; I get it.

But remember, embracing AI doesn't mean surrendering your creativity. It's about enhancing your capabilities, speeding up your writing process, and yes, maybe sneaking in a bit more shut-eye. So, go on, give these tools a whirl, and see how they can change your blogging game. And when you're bathing in the glory of improved productivity and skyrocketing SEO rankings, remember who pointed you in the right direction. You're welcome.
